On the Tsuut’ina Nation, we say “GUJAKA NANIYAɁI” which means “WELCOME”.
Support Indigenous and local artists and businesses at the second annual Christmas at the Nation. In partnership with the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex & Chief Jim Starlight Centre and Taza, this new holiday market will feature an array of local Calgary and Indigenous vendors.
Artisans and makers promise to amaze you with their talents and are so appreciative of your commitment to supporting local. Find the perfect gift for someone on your list or treat yourself with a wonderful little treasure. Don’t miss out on the warmth and welcome of the people of the Tsuut’ina Nation.
Enjoy a festive holiday atmosphere, Tsuut’ina Nation dance performances, tipis, Santa Claus, and food from our concessions in Seven Chiefs Sportsplex. As well as our treasured Canadian experience of skating outdoors under the roof of the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex outdoor arena during market hours. There is no cost to skate outdoors, so bring your skates, and helmets for the kids. No hockey sticks or pucks, please.
On Saturday, December 17 the market hours are extended to 7:00 pm as we warmly welcome Indigenous and well-known music performers to our main stage. We are excited to offer live music to our unique holiday market.
Tickets to Christmas at the Nation will be available at the door on
December 16, 17, and 18.
FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT THE 7 CHIEFS SPORTSPLEX.

Bridging Connection
The Bridging Connection Program connects local Tsuut’ina artists with Taza tenants, designed to bring the community closer together through a range of creative collaborations with current and prospective businesses at Taza.

Christmas at the Nation will highlight two local Tsuut’ina artists under the Bridging Connection Program who will be featured at the holiday market. Taza will be providing complimentary prints from each artist. One print per attendee admission fee will be provided upon registration to the market until quantities last.
